ADHD Coaching
I work with Individuals who have ADD or ADD-like symptoms
It doesn’t matter what you call it. If symptoms of distractability, forgetfulness and lack of follow through are affecting your life, I can help you! My clients may be on prescribed medications for treatment of ADD or may, for whatever reason, choose not to take these medications. I support my clients in their decision and together we create accountability on areas of their life that need more focus. Specifically, I consult with my client on nutrition, exercise, meditation and other life style adjustments that will help their brain function more effectively.
I draw on my experience as a personal trainer to effectively work with my clients giving them expert advice, so that they can ADD “deliberate movement” and nourishing food into their lives. What’s the difference between Coaching and Therapy?

Coaching is not therapy. Therapy deals with healing, restoring and resolving. It is often focused on the past and moving away from pain. A therapist gets to the “why” of the situation. Therapists do not share from there own personal experiences. Coaching assumes that clients don’t need to be fixed or told how to do things. Coaching gets to the “who, what and how” of a situation. Coaching focuses on the present and the actions the client is willing to take to move toward a desired future. Coaching will keep you focused on the present, on the desired outcome and on moving forward. I believe that you hold the answers, know what you should do, AND may benefit from some simple guidance, direction, and planning.
What is ADD Coaching?
Although Life Coaching has been around for years, the concept of ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) coaching was first introduced in the 1994 book, Driven to Distraction, by Edward M. Hallowell, M.D., and John J. Ratey, M.D.
ADD to Life keeps the F.O.C.U.S. on the unique and wonderful individual YOU are!
So many “professionals” are quick to remind ADDers of the struggles and difficulties that ADD brings. By doing this the negative aspects of this brain difference are intensified leaving many feeling overwhelmed and defeated.

I consult with my client and we ADD wonderful and healthy structures to their life. We take our focus off deprivation and look at what is working and ADD more of that!
