We have five - all in ball. My best advice is to take Sunday afternoon/evenings and prepare 3-4 meals for the week that can be heated quickly...taco meat, speghetti, mac n cheese, any of the favorites should do! This way, through the week, the kids can still get to bed on time when everyone is at a different place at a different time because all you have to do is HEAT IT UP! :)

Thank you for your post Lily.
I'm so happy to hear about the "improvement in (your) condition!"
Yes, it is definitely possible to experience improvement in negative ADHD symptoms but I am very wary when I hear about a "cure" for ADHD.
Meditation, exercise, nutrition, coaching, education, therapy, medication and some holistic practices can help to alleviate some unpleasant symptoms of ADD.
We are not all exactly alike and ADD is a different (from the norm) way of thinking, acting and being. To date, there is no cure for this.
Thank you for this link and I will review this.
Check out my website, www.addtolifecoaching.com to find out more information about ADD.

A well-written post. Agree with you, but did you know that attention deficit disorder can be cured? I had this problem (some time ago) and then i seeked advices from websites like http://www.attention-deficit-disorder.net . And presto! I think I can see an imporvement in my condition. It's almost magical. You should try it too.

What a great post. I agree, exercise is the way to avoid unnecessary drugs.

Hi Becca!
For more information on this study, you can go to this link at: http://www.news.uiuc.edu/news/04/0827adhd.html

Yes, ADD adults also need their "green time," maybe even more than the kids do! I'm so happy to hear about your walk in the woods. Give me a call if you want more information.

I'm reading this after a brief walk in the woods around the corner from my house- and I can relate- and say that green is great for ADHD adults, too! Where can I find the initial article/reference?
